When they say “Variety is the Spice of Life”, they weren’t lying. Savory Spice Shop in Virginia Highlands is your one stop spice shop. Upon entering you smell hints of herbs, peppers, curries, and warm welcomes!! The staff was eager to brag on the variety of spices and the available quantities for purchase. Each spice has an individual shaker for testing and when you’re finished, throw it on the floor. Trust me, the staff told me that it’s okay, lol The actual explanation is that the spices on the floor help with the aroma, and man they weren’t kidding.
